Cadwell Joinery specializes in making wooden windows and doors. All work is custom designed: for restorations, existing elements (profiles, lite sizes, panels, moldings, and materials.) can be matched; or new work, a section of historic profiles are available. To compliment the designs, I use traditional materials and techniques including Eastern White pine, pegged mortise and tenons, and dovetail joints.

To preserve existing building materials, we make new parts to work with what's there. For example, by making new sash that fit old window frames, the frames, trim, walls, and money can be saved.
